Newbie Here.... Ftp Help

Hey guys,

I just transferred my domain from namecheap. I also applied for the budget plan here to host my website. I only had namecheap register my domain and I later upgraded to a pop/imap email package. I have gotten the emails from HostPC confirming my order and payment. There were some links to access the control panel. It was my like...... http://mydomain.com:2222

I clicked on the hyperlink to go to it.... and I get.... "the page cannot be displayed". I am thinking that my account is not activated yet...... how long does it take til I can FTP into my account. That is all I need today... is to be able to FTP. I will set up my web page in a week or so.

1) Make sure you're not behind a firewall that blocks port 2222

2) Make sure if you're using AOL that you're using an external browser, not AOL's internal/default browser.

3) Contact the helpdesk if you've tested this and are still having a problem.

My first attempt was at work....... I didn't know if they blocked port 2222, so I tried it from home. I am currently on an AT&T dialup, so I don't think there is a problem there. I can login to my profile...... but not the config..... to set up ftp useres and such.

I guess the help ticket is next.
