I am strongly considering signing up for one of the Budget plans, but I have a couple of questions.
1. I play online games (particularly Enemy Territory). The game allows user-created custom maps (filename.pk3) and the game includes a feature that automatically redirects users without the custom map to a website where they can download it.
Given the MP3/copyrighted material policy at http://www.hostpc.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=1307, would it be acceptable to host these custom game PK3 files at my domain? All of these custom maps are released by users for free so that they can be played, but I just wanted to check before signing up for an account/
If so, is it possible to place a limit on the bandwidth used by such files? I would not want to use up my whole allocation so that gamers could download these files.
2. What happens if all the plan's bandwidth is used up before the end of the month? Do file transfers and email just stop, or is there an automatic charge for extra bandwitdh?
Thanks! Reading through the forums, I have been impressed with the support.
