ok, so ive been tryign to get the site up and working. but when i replaced the default index with that of my own nothing happened. So i tried replacing ever index i could find in the file manager, but still nothing. So i tried going around that for now and put in a another couple pages of the site, but i couldn't do anything to connect to them. whats going on and what do i do to fix this?

the one you need to modify is in /var/www/html

What is your domain name - has it propogated to the servers yet?

its pentwyvern.net, and it has been more than a day since i made the changes.

If this is your registrar then your site name has not yet popagated to HostPC, and you won't see your site by the name www.pentwyvern.net in the address bar.

In your welcome letter when you ordered the hosting, you should have received the url address to use to preview your site before propagation takes place.

Your default file for your site should be named, index.html, or index.htm, or index.php (if you are using PHP scripting for your site).

it appears to have been a propagation issue...the site is coming up for me now...let us know if you have any other problems
