I was thinking it would be nice to have some nice templates (simple HTML or more advanced PHP-driven pages). Beginning users, or people like me who don't have much time and just want to set up a basic placeholder page for an add-on domain could set up a complete site in a few clicks.

there are content management systems in Installatron that can get a dummy page up pretty quickly aren't there?

Yeah I looked at a few of those (drupal, mambo, phpnuke) but none really did what I wanted in terms of setting up a simple website (home page, about page, blog page, etc.) and choosing from several visual looks.

What would be cool would be a nice little script that would ask a couple of questions and then auto-generate the pages, along with some means of easily switching visual styles (via php or something)

I don't know. I guess there are commercial packages that do this. . .

A simple little design and a couple simple pages like that could take only a few minutes to just whip out by hand as well...especially if you save a few for future use as you make them...kind of a branded "coming soon" set up.
