Is there a way to exclude my own domain pages from appearing in the external referrers list (Links from an external page)?
I am digging through the awstats.conf file, but I thought someone might have the answer handy.

Hi Eugene,
I did see the post.
Since this change is effective for new updates am not sure how to modify the line:
SkipHosts="^http://www.greeklandscapes.com"
or
SkipHosts="localhost"
or
SkipHosts="something else"
Have you been able to exclude your own pages from the "external pages" list (I do want to count my own visits overall). If yes, how did you achieve it?
Thank you once again.

I have not messed with any of that yet.
I'll try and get back to you later this (next) week.

Docs about
/awstats/docs/awstats_config.html
for example
http://www.greeklandscapes.com/awstats/doc...ats_config.html (http://www.greeklandscapes.com/awstats/docs/awstats_config.html)

I am assuming that subdomains are what are showing up as external references?
If so, I am not sure how to fix that other than to edit the awstats.pl file directly. I do not believe that there is a config option/parameter to handle that issue.

Line 141:
HostAliases="www.yourdomain.net yourdomain.net sub1.yourdomain.net"
I believe the above should work.
Comments from config file:
# Enter here all other possible domain names, addresses or virtual host
# aliases someone can use to access your site. Try to keep only the minimum
# number of possible names/addresses to have the best performances.
# You can repeat the "SiteDomain" value in this list.
# Use space between each value.
# This parameter is used to analyze referer field in log file and to help
# AWStats to know if a referer URL is a local URL of same site or an URL of
# another site.
# Example: "www.myserver.com x.y.z.w localhost 127.0.0.1"

Thanks Eugene,
I think I tried this already and did not work (along with every other possible way google or awstats could suggest).
I don't think there is a way to do it, although I have erred before.
It worked in my previous host and I compared the config files. There was nothing there that could cause the own pages to show as external referrers. The only difference is that I was on a dedicated IP.
I will try it again later this week.

The setup on my awstats includes the desired external sites as well as one of the subdomains I have. Everything else from www.mydomain.net and mydomain.net shows up as it is supposed to show up.
