Has anyone successfully customized the squirrelmail login page...maybe adding their own logo? Is this possible?
Thanks!
hello
yes..it is possible
go to /var/www/html/squirrelmail/images
upload your image to that directory and name it sm_logo.jpg
I tried Nick's method, overwriting the exisitng file and got the following error:
An error has occured:

I also tried deleting the existing sm_logo file before uploading mine and got a similar error.
Nick's trick works for individual installs of squirrelmail, but the install at HostPC is a central install, meaning the graphics are installed in one central location, not for each domain as other hosts do it.
If you want to be able to customize your squirrelmail installation, you'd need to install it in your own domain - excuusively for yourself. It's "just an application" and can be installed by anyone. You would have to install it to a director or subdirectory OTHER THAN squirrelmail or mail - perhaps squirrel.domain.com or domain.com/webmail
Hope that helps. Did your site error get cleared up yet?

Joe,
I would like to customize mine - where can I obtain the squirrelmail files from (i.e., where is the central place that they can be copied from)?
Thanks.
Craig
As I said, you'd need to download your own version of squirrelmail - it can be found at http://www.squirrelmail.org
Hope that helps
Joe
