How long does propogation take?

I signed up with hostpc.com yesterday and have built 2 pages for my site, (www.limaexchangeclub.com), that I can view through the domain preview, but when will my domain be live on the Net? Is there something that I need to do?

Hi Marc -

Your DNS settings were set incorrectly - I just updated them, you should be live within the next 24-72 hours (probably 24).

I've actually had a couple of reports of "slow propogation"

In both cases, the domains DNS servers weren't set properly. They should be set based on the information you receive in your "welcome" mail... it's got a LOT of great details in it, and I would suggest printing it out and saving it for reference.

We've insured that the servers are answering properly, all dns settings on the server, and at the registrar are correct.

If you have a problem, check your domains DNS ... if it's right, and it's been more than 48 hours, open a support ticket, and we'll be MORE than happy to look into it. I want you as satisfied clients ... and do what it takes to make sure you're satisfied.
