Does anyone know what happened to hiveminds.info?

I know there's some of their users here, but I haven't heard anything, and they've been down for a couple days now.

If they need any help in getting going again - have them contact me - there's a LOT of great information over there, and I'd be glad to help out however I could.

Joe, not too sure, but they were going to merge the old snitz forum with the current PHPBB forum, so that could be why it's down at the moment.

Ah, I missed the memo on that one :)

Well, tell em if they want a place to meet in the meantime, I'd be happy to set them up with a forum to chatter

Ya a couple of the members have been working on trying to port over the old snitz forum for a long time, I thought they had given up, but then I heard chatter about it again. I was unaware that they were going to do that this weekend, but if they are, that would be a good reason for it being down, based on the over-all quality (or lack of) in that snitz forum, I would guess the database is messy and very hard to port into another format...argh, that snitz board drove me nuts, but there was a lot of good info there I would like to see on the new forum.

The problem supposedly had nothing to do with the merge of the two forums (that only will take about 90 seconds) -- the database ran out of room and tables got corrupted. That's what they say anyway. It's fixed now as kev_nz says.

The title of this thread currently is "Hineminds.info"; you might want to change it to it's correct spelling -- Hiveminds.info -- so other readers will know what we're talking about (and maybe visit and join (we're always looking for new members)).

Duh, thanks for pointing that out - it's corrected
