7:05AM ET, server is down longer than expected - I've asked the datacenter to check the status and report... I believe it's still in FSCK

server is back online, but apache is off...

I dont play games with servers that throw temper tantrums like this - I'm having a new server brough online now, we'll be moving all customers to it. We'll provide more information shortly.

www20 is online, however the DA control panel remains down.

if you wish to move NOW, please open a helpdesk ticket, and we'll get you setup on a new box ... include your username, password and off-site email address.

If we dont hear from you, we'll move clients later today manually.

We've restored access on this server temporarily.

We're making backups of all users as of 12:30pm ET (Approx) and are transferring the data to a new server, www33

All users will need to update their DNS and pointers to the new server ASAP. www20 will be removed from service within 24 hours for reformatting.

Server IP: 72.35.71.198

It was not possible to keep the same IP's (ie DNS) for this new server, thus the need for the change.

This information is being emailed to all users on the server now.

The helpdesk staff will be changing the DNS record for customers on this server whose domains are registered at HostPC.

EDIT: As of 4:00PM Eastern, the nameserver records of all HostPC-registered domains from www20 are now pointing to the www33 server.

We'll be turning this server OFF tomorrow morning around 9am.

It'll then be reformatted. Please make sure your DNS is updated correctly.
