Can I make it so that when I forward email, there won't be a copy of the email left in my mailbox?

If you don't have a mailbox created, but just a forward, there will be no saved message.

I have a mailbox for alex@domain.com
I have a fowarder for alex@domain.com to alex@other.com
Just delete the alex@domain.com mailbox?
