I am tired of google ads. They have not produced th results I need. Mostly because adsense is not steerable. This gives me ads that are in conflict with my business or have context that is not inviting to visitors. I also will be dropping two reseller accounts at other hosts.No, I will not be picking up Hostpc but just getting out of that aspect of doing business. It is just more headache than profit.
So I have decided to use targeted affiliates instead. Mostly for webhosting, books and software. I have found one or two affiliates for webhosting that I feel can be trusted. I would like though to have three to cover different ranges of visitors.
To be honest right now Hostpc does not have the type server support (php5 and Ruby) that I will be pushing in my writing but when RubyonRails gets going then it will be in the group. That and the fact that other more important items like service, support and reliablility have been exemplary makes me feel good about offering their services.
I have seen threads where this was mentioned and supposedly would happen soon. But it has been a year? since anything has come forth.
So what do you say? Anything on the back burner that's done and ready?
