I attempted to send a message to 4 people using Outlook Express.
The first time, OE returned with the error message:
The message could not be sent because one of the recipients was rejected by the server. The rejected e-mail address was 'someone@hotmail.com'. Subject 'Estimated travel times over pass by DOT', Account: 'Graphtablet', Server: 'mail.graphtablet.com', Protocol: SMTP, Server Response: '550 authentication required', Port: 587, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 550, Error Number: 0x800CCC79
The second time, a minute later, the message was sent without error. I'm confused: what server rejected the recipient-- was it hotmail server or graphtablet server(aka hostpc) or maybe even my ISP (Comcast).
Most puzzling since this occurred the first attempt and not the second!
I've seen this a few times before. Thought I should finally seek help.
Thanks, Mike
Edit: Graphtablet is hosted on www17 here at hostpc
