Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock' (2)
Anyone ever seen this before? Any idea what it means? I'm assuming if it can't connect to the local MySQL server, that means the SQL server for 37 is down?
If so, wouldn't that mean everyone else on 37 can't access databases?
I'm a little out of my depth. Haven't got a response to my helpdesk ticket yet (it's been only an hour since I posted, though, and maybe 20 minutes since I escalated to urgent)...is this something I can try fixing on my end somehow?
Just had one of the founders of CivicSpace contact me and ask me to contribute documentation to the project, so I'm hoping he doesn't come back and see my site dead this morning...keeping my fingers crossed.
Any help from MySQL afficionados (or anyone else) appreciated.
