All our servers are 100% online, and doing fine... however there's been multiple reports of slow response times and latency - some even reported timeouts.

Further investigation revealed at 7:30 Verio was performing network maintenance to alleviate the strain, however, the entire North American continent appears to be having issues as of 8:30am ET:

http://www.internettrafficreport.com/namerica.htm

Current "Health" report of the internet shows a 76 - which is barely a "C" rating:
North America
Avg. Response Time: 103
Avg. Packet Loss: 14 %

At the time of this post, 9:05AM ET, the trend is less packet loss and we're now at 81 - which is a B- ... so we're definately getting better.

Again, this affected a LOT of networks, not just Verio, and will likely continue for a couple more hours until it's fully resolved.

So you're saying I shouldn't contact Verio and see what the deal is?
:D :D :D :D

Is this happening again? I'm getting the same time-out issues I had earlier when this happened. The link doesn't seem to show a problem, though :-/ Anything going on?

I have knoticed slow response time from 2:00 -4:00 am EST the last few nights (Feb 26-28.
Mainly on Joomla db driven sites. But also on hostpc.com.
All other sites on the internet are fast so I don't think it is my connection.
I wonder if backups are going during this time or something else that could be slowing many hostpc servers.

Sites on 44 and 22.

I'm on 44 and noticed some problems FTPing files up on Friday but figured it was just me. I guess not.
