Newsgroups?

Okay, I'm thinking about subscribing to some newsgroups, but I have a question.

Is there a special news server that I don't know about (i.e. news.mydomain.com)? Or does it come with the email address?

To be more specific, I can go into Thunderbird, and create a newsgroup account, but it asks for my news server. I was wondering what that server was.

No, HostPC does not offer newsgroups..you'd have to get them thru your ISP or from newsgroup services directly. You can have the emails from the group sent to your HostPC email accounts if that's what you mean though.

If your ISP does not offer Usenet server support, then you can search Google for one..like https://secure.giganews.com/ (https://secure.giganews.com/signup/)
