View Full Version : Error: `Couldn't sync mailbox'

For one of my pop3 accounts, I get the following error message when attempting to download new mail:

"Sending of password did not succeed. Mail server mail.example.com responded: Couldn't sync mailbox."

The problem seems to have started when the domain reached its quota for disk space and stopped accepting new email. Last night I increased the quota so that it would accept requests to download mail, then I downloaded all email for the other pop3 accounts. Some of them also had this error message, but after giving it time and retrying they worked. However, this one remaining pop3 account still doesn't work, and it's now 12 hours later. I've reset the password in the DA panel just to be sure it's correct.

What should I do? (other than wait a day and try again)
