What do i do with my domain site?

Do i need to tell my domain provider that I have my site hosted in hostpc.com? because i register elsewhere for my domain few weeks back and I just register for hosting at hostpc today. What procedure should I do? can you list them all?

you just need to tell them to update your nameservers (DNS)
that information will be listed in your all-set email you receive
after updated it will take 24 to 72hrs to take place

all other information to get started is in that email as well
