View Full Version : Major Ice Storms in the Northeast

Ice storms in the northeast are limiting traffic to various portions of the country, including anything that travels over the Sprint Network (Comcast, Roadrunner, Cox, etc.).

Some servers are appearing unreachable - but are indeed up and others around the country may or may not be able to view sites. This is affecting a LOT of carriers and datacenters through the country, not just HostPC

Currently, I can't route anything over Sprint or Level3 to Texas, Pennsylvania or Florida.

Please allow time for Sprint to re-route their networks - this is something completely outside our, or the datacenters control.

Thank you.

For instance, via Roadrunner circuits in the Northeast (home office) I can't reach any server in Texas, Florida or PA. Switched to my Verizon circuit and everything resolves just fine.

Wacky nature of the net I guess :(

Routing issues, at least for my connection (road runner circuit) here in NY have cleared to FL, PA - but TX is still unavailable, and I can't resolve Google.com - no matter how I try.

So, it's getting back to normal, just taking time

all good from here in Calif. Was freezing the last 3-4 days but no internet connectivity issue from here.
