I've installed uebimiau in mine public folder(name=email), everything works more or less well.
However main PHP Script placed all the folders of "database" as apache owner, in which doesn't obtain to modify or to delete because the permissions are 755.

Some suggestion?:nod

Some scripts do that b/c they require it that way to function correclty .. not sure about uebimiau mail
Open a helpdesk ticket @ http://helpdesk.hostpc.com ... senior techs can change the ownership .. just don't be surprise if it breaks

I'm not use default for many reasons:
1º the users are PT=iso8859-1, the server of uebimiau are configured as=ENG what it does not understand PT characters and it modifies all type of special character, like ç, ã, á, õ, ô, i, ú. Who makes the email unreadable.
If the server had as PT=iso8859-1 config, would accept all the communication in ENG and other languages, because ENG it doesn't use special characters and he would use almost Europeans languages (it's only a suggestion).
2ºthere're some limitation of space only supports 10Mb, in this case users could not send messages.
3º It was suggested by the technical support, what this given to me some headaches: :D
Some suggestions to change the owner of “database”

You can't do it .. you have to have shell access to change ownership
