I've seen a couple of post that like that email that is forwarded also stays in the main account, but I don't want that. When the email is forwarded I want the email deleted from the main account. In outlook there is a check box to leave a copy on the server, thus unchecking it and the email is not kept. Is there a similar setting in DA? TIA for any suggestions

I don't think you are able to do what you want, but I am not sure.
If you don't get a response here, you might try looking in the DirectAdmin forums (http://www.directadmin.com/forum/) to see if anyone else has asked a similar question.
Sorry couldn't be more help.

That can't be done from DA.
If you have email that you want to arrive elsewhere and not sit in the email account on the server, have it delivered to a forwarder that points to the destination rather than the main account.

Did you see this forum thread http://www.hostpc.com/community/showthread.php?t=3148 ?.
What you want to do can be done, just not directly through the control panel.
Follow the instructions in that thread and it should work for you.
