Tons more lottery spam lately?

My wife's email account has been experiencing a TON of spam lately, all involving "winning" international lotteries and such. I've looked at a few of the headers and spamassassin is only giving it between 1-4 points, so it's not even coming close to being blocked. I've gone and tried adding a few keywords to control it (most all of them have somewhere in them a foreign yahoo address...I added those to the keyword blocklist) but was wondering if anyone else had experienced anything like this lately? We're on www81.

If you have catchall enabled, get rid of it ... that's the number one issue.

I monitor my spam count pretty closely. I've been averaging about 26-30 per day for the last few months.

Three days ago it immediately jumped and now I'm seeing around 45 per day so something happened out in spammerland.

However I'm not getting very many that don't trigger the 5.0 threshold in SA so mine are almost all marked as *****SPAM*****.
