Apple Mail & Spam folder

For some reason, the Spam folder does not appear in Apple Mail. I can see it in squirrelmail and even on my iphone. What's more strange is that I have growl installed, so when spam comes through, I see the growl notification but I cannot review the spams.

Does anybody have any idea on how to enable the Spam folder created by SpamAssassin for view in Mail?

Are you using IMAP or POP to access your email?
That makes a difference.
My Mail Version is Version 2.1 (752/752.2) in case that helps.

I'm using IMAP. I'm using v2.1.1 as well.
