Hello,
I noticed something about the Webmail on Direct Admin. When you go to http://yoursite/webmail you can't just enter your username and password, you actually have to enter username@yoursite.
It seems logical that since I am going to my website to log into webmail that it wouldn't want me to enter the '@yoursite' since I am already at my site. Do you know if there is any solution to this?
Thanks

The reason you have to use username@domainname.com is that the webmail applet Ue@#%daf (I dont know the real name bc it is stupid) is for the ENTIRE server/hostpc accounts. And you could have a name ken@domain1.com and ken@domain2.com and when you logged in with ken it wouldnt know which one to use.
But your admin username for the entire account (the one that was given to you in the email) does work by just using the name and not the @domainname.com part, but that is because those usernames have to be distinct and there cannot be any duplicates.
So basically there is no solution to this unless you have your own email client such as squirrelmail...
if you enter with the master username, you don't need the @domain.com - the master username is the only one that can get around that.
Now, a little birdie has been whispering in my ear (or in my general vicinity) that webmail and mail is about to change, for the better. It may clear up some of these inconsistencies ... no ETA, but the bird tells me it's being worked on by the authors. I'll, of course, keep you updated on any changes.
