Hey Guys :)

Does anyone know how we need to have our e-mail setup in outlook? I can't seem to get mine to work and I know I'm probably just missing something. For the login I put username@domain.com and also tried just username but it still wasn't logging on. I also remembered to authenticate the smtp server... Any ideas? :)

I tried downloading the settings into outlook like the directions said and that didn't work either. Webmail is working great though. I love the new interface with that and directadmin. It's a lot more user friendly for slower computer people like my 62 year old dad :)

Hello Molly

http://myhostpc.com/faq/faq.php?s=4

you can download a file from the control panel and run it locally...it puts all the settings in there for you...have you tried that?

Yeah I tried that with all my accounts. I kept getting this error message...

I noticed that in Outlook, after propagation, my mail settings which were correct weren't actually picking up the mail from the server (which I knew was there because I use MailWasher) until I shut down Outlook and restarted it. It wasn't giving me errors though, but it's something to try, if you haven't already.

yeah I tried that...not sure if I'm propogated yet, but until then I'm just using the ip address for my pop and smtp to retrieve mail :) thanks for the tip :)
