I've been a satisfied customer for a few years, but was quite a bit taken back after reading your posts on twitter.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but now that I see the political postings you've made on your twitter account (specifically your support of that fear mongerer and wacko glenn beck), I plan to take my business elsewhere.

For future reference, you may want to keep your personal political beliefs to a private twitter, as in my case, it will cost you my business in the future. Business twitter accounts should be for just that, business.

Sorry and best of luck.

Best of luck to you.

Thanks for your feedback. I'm not sure how 2 "tweets" from nearly 3 months ago are "important" any longer, but everyone's welcome to their opinion, thank you for yours.

(PS: One was an article re-posted from cnet (http://news.cnet.com/8301-13578_3-10320096-38.html) - I'm not sure how that's harmed anyone, but again, thanks for your feedback).

I disagree with the OP and hate to see you justify yourself to the intolerant customer who has experienced satisfactory service for years by their own admission. If you post political material then you will attract some customers and turn off others (by the type of material I've seen posted I think this will be a net benefit for you). Most won't care as long as they get the product they are paying for.

Let the squeaky wheel squeak somewhere else...

This is an idiotic statement. How exactly is he going to attract customers to his web hosting business with political posts? If he's gunning for some big business hosting the RNC, fine. Otherwise? It's just not good business sense.

You think customers will choose not to do business because they disagree with the politics but they won't choose to do business because they agree with the politics?

Also, thanks for calling me an idiot.

I'm saying that the number of people who will choose it based on politics is much smaller than those who will choose not to. ie, unless your business is politics, it's bad business to bring them up.

Also, thanks for calling me an idiot.

Learn to read. I did not call you an idiot.

I disagree. But, I won't call your opinion idiotic.

No, you just don't have any business sense.

My customers enthusiastically disagree.

Thanks for proving my point!

Interesting thread, and yes, a lot of radical wingers on either side will choose who they do and don't do business with based on their political leanings, the same goes with radically religious people choosing to do businesses with like minded people. If I am aware some body leans vastly different from me or supports causes I strongly disagree with, I won't give him my money to help them do it.

That said, I lean with Joe, so it's all good.
