Ok!
What gives? I decided to try the build in https support of directadmin. This is really cool, however the certificate has some strange credentials:
E = ca@snakeoil.dom
CN = Snake Oil CA
OU = Certificate Authority
O = Snake Oil, Ltd
L = Snake Town
S = Snake Desert
C = XY
Ok, I know this is a 'freebie', but couldn't the certificate be something a bit less, well a bit more respectable sounding? It really smells like a hack of some sort.
I guess we can tell our users to just ignore this, or pay for a real certificate?
Will this ever be changed to something less fishy smelling? Or will the certificate ever go away?
Plus it shows an expiration date of 10/20/2001.
Just wondering, but I did get a chuckle out of it.
