View Full Version : All but one email account works

I'm currently migrating a domain from Ensim to DA but have a problem. All email accounts are IMAP, all of them work except one. Murphey trumps: it is of course the primary email account.

I can do everything with this email account except receive e-mail. I can create folders, store mail, login via squirrelmail, etc. If I try to send email to that account, whether it be from an outside account, from itself (via squirrelmail), from another account within the domain, it does not matter: it all gets lost.

I'm at a loss as to what to do. I don't want to delete and recreate the account as I've spent two days transistioning thousands of email messages into folders under it.

Any ideas?

No. Everything works. Except getting mail. The mail I send to that email address never comes back (no bounce, nothing).

In fact if I login to that email address using squirrelmail and send a message to itself all appears to work :
- the message gets sent
- the message gets copied to the Sent folder
- no errors are generated

However the email never shows up in the inbox.

I've a help ticket open to get the ssh account setup there so that I can have a look around. It is almost as if there is another Inbox somewhere and the IMAP client (squirrelmail included) cannot see it. Or something like that.

FYI there is not SSH right now there are still some security issues with it so its been disabled.

Ah, thanks! I was not aware of that. I wondered why my help ticket was quietly deleted!
