I getting a funny (or maybe not so funny!) error message on my blog archives:

What are the permission settings on the archives folder? Try chmoding them to 777 and see if that helps... If that works, then you can start backing them back down.

Yes, the folder is chmoded to 777.

Huh! That's weird! I tried chmoding it 3 times before and it didn't work. I tried the fourth time, and it did work! :D

I've noticed similar weirdness. (I assume you're on DA?) It's happened often enough to me that I'm starting to think maybe there's a bug of some sort and it's not just my imagination!
