Squirrelmail is installed globally on each domain under directadmin... but, there's nothing to stop you from installing your own version!!
Here's the fun part:
http://www.squirrelmail.org/plugins_catego...p?category_id=3 (http://www.squirrelmail.org/plugins_category.php?category_id=3)
Tons of Spam filters available in Squirrelmail installations... Personally, I'm insterested in Plugins - BayesSpam - Intelligent Spam Filter. That looks the most promising. There's also spamassasin plugins, etc.
If I install them in the global directory, everyone will be "spam protected" - but as we ran into before, one persons "spam" is anothers treasure.
What I would suggest is creating a directory, or a subdirectory, install your own version of Squirrelmail - (maybe we can get a "hot to" written soon) ... then add these plugins as you need them.
Just some thoughts - might work great for some people... tho it's not a POP solution, it's a partial solution.
