I tried these for an afternoon, set up a SPAM folder to hold garbage, and nothing got caught as SPAM.

Any ideas? Should I turn them all on?

I used them on my mom's account which gets all the nasty garbage mail at like 100-300 messages a day and it didn't work...I bought the program Joe was talking about and it worked like a charm...was worth the 20 bucks to actually get important mail and not have to sit there for an hour everyday sorting them out. If you're on directadmin, you can also try filtering out stuff by putting in the junk mail emails and domains, but that takes a lot of time and they change too frequently...

UPDATE:

After letting the above setting run overnight. No messages were in my SPAM folder. I checked one of the IP addresses of an obvious SPAM message that I received, and it WAS listed in the SPAMCOP database. So in short... I either don't know how to use this feature, or it does not work. :(
